This year, Tibetan New Year (Losar) falls on 3rd March 2022. In accord with the qualities of the water tiger, may you embrace the spontaneous and enthusiastic dynamism of the tiger while cooling the heat off its quick temper with the patient calm of the water
“The Year of the Tiger is an unpredictable year. Many dramatic developments can be expected: explosions, political unrest, catastrophes, heroic deeds, sudden and daring attacks, all are characteristic of this year. It is turbulent but hides its surprises well, whether they are good or bad, and a certain caution should be observed in all undertakings.”
However, the quality of Water is that it has a tendency to temper the roar of the tiger:
“Water gives openness of mind, suppleness, reflection, communication, and intuition. The animal sign [i.e. Tiger] associated with Water becomes more thoughtful, lucid, and sensitive, but also more passive. Water years are auspicious for change and communication.”
